Process
Other cars and Residents trucks have free access within the port and are not subject to scheduling. As an exception, Residents trucks must make a scheduled booking every time they carry out a loading/unloading operation in a terminal other than the one for which they have the status of resident. In these situations, the same SID management rules apply as for Visitors trucks because they have the same status when they access a terminal other than their own.
In the case of trucks managed through the application, they pass successively through the following statuses:
Port Queue - when we have an approved booking
Terminal Queue - when the check-in was done in the port
Terminal Parking - when check-in was done in the terminal
Exit Queue - when the check-out was done from the port
The operations of program approval, port check-in, terminal check-in, terminal check-out and port check-out can be performed automatically or manually, depending on the settings made by each individual entity.
Access to the port is allowed only if the access rules established by the authority are respected, respectively:
The truck or the driver is not prohibited from entering the port
There is a valid schedule for that truck (valid schedule = accepted by the port operator, warehouse, etc.)
Access to the port is made no later than 3 hours before the time interval
There is space available for that truck in the Terminal Queue
